You can also use Ctrl+g for “Go To” command.

  1. At first, click A1 cell.
  2. Hold down the Ctrl key and press “g” (Ctrl+g) key from your keyboard. The “Go To” dialog box will be open.
  3. Type E5 into the “Go To” dialog box.
  4. Press Enter button from your keyboard. Your cursor should move to E5 cell.

Go to – F5

The F5 key is a function key. You can use this key for “Go To” command.  Enter the cell address to the “Go To” box and press Enter key from your keyboard. So, your cursor jumps to your choosing cell.

  1. At first, click A1 cell.
  2. Press F5 key. The “Go To” dialog box will be open.
  3. Type D5 into the “Go To” dialog box.
  4. Press Enter button from your keyboard. Your cursor should move to D5 cell.

The following are shortcuts for moving quickly from one cell to another cell in different part of the worksheet.

The Home Key

You can make use of the home key in conjunction with the end keys. It causes the cursor move to cell A1 or beginning of the data area.

  1. At first, move to your cursor J column.
  2. Move to your cursor 20 row.
  3. It will be J20 cell.
  4. Press End key from your keyboard.
  5. Press Home key form your keyboard.
  6. You will see your cursor move to the cell A1.

The End Key

You can make use of the end key in conjunction with the arrow keys. It causes the cursor move to the end of the spreadsheet in direction to the arrow.

  1. At first, click A1 cell.
  2. Press the end key from your keyboard.
  3. You see the “END” on the status bar in the right lower corner of the screen.
  4. Press the right arrow key.
  5. The cursor moves right end cell of the screen.
  6. Again, press END key.
  7. Press the down arrow key.
  8. The cursor moves button cell of the screen.
  9. Again, press END key.
  10. Press the left arrow key.
  11. The cursor moves left cell of the screen.
  12. Again, press END key.
  13. Press the up arrow key.
  14. The cursor moves top cell of the screen.

Page Up and Page Down

You can make use of the Page Up and Page Down keys to move the cursor one page up or one page down at a time.

  1. At first, click A1 cell.
  2. Press Page Down key at a time.
  3. You see your cursor move to the down just one page at a time.
  4. Again, click A20 cell.
  5. Press Page Up key at a time.
  6. You see your cursor move to the up just one page at a time.

The Shift+Tab Keys

  3. You see your cursor move to left just one cell at a time.

The Tab Key
