Make Windows XP Logo in Illustrator

1. Open your Illustrator software and create a new document. (File > New), Size (Width > 12in, Height > 15in) press OK button.

2. Select Pen tool and create a new line, just like picture.

3. Select Selection Tool, select the line, copy and move it.

4. Select Direct Selection Tool, drug it to select both left line point.

5. Click mouse right button and click Join.

6. Again apply the same command to join right both corner.

7. Select Selection tool and select the shape, stroke color none and fill color black.

8. Copy this shape and past hare.

9. Select both shape, double click Rotate tool (Angle > 180) and press copy button.

10. Select Selection tool and move it, just like picture.

11. Select first shape and apply gradient.

12. Open Gradient editor, double click gradient slider, click right and select color mood CMYK. Again double click right gradient slider and apply the same command. 

13. Double click the left Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=0, M=73, Y=100, K=0).

  • Select 2nd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=0, M=44, Y=72, K=0).  
  • Select 3rd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=0, M=100, Y=100, K=32). 

14. Select another shape, select eyedropper tool and click the shape before you make.

  • Double click the left Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=72, M=38, Y=100, K=27).

  • Select 2nd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=44, M=0, Y=100, K=0). 
  • Select 3rd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=61, M=12, Y=100, K=1). 

15. Select another shape, select eyedropper tool and click the shape before you make.

  • Double click the left Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=72, M=38, Y=100, K=27).

  • Select 2nd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=34, M=25, Y=0, K=0). 
  • Select 3rd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=91, M=85, Y=0, K=0). 

16. Select another shape, select eyedropper tool and click the shape before you make.

  • Double click the left Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=44, M=44, Y=100, K=17).

  • Select 2nd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=2, M=15, Y=95, K=0). 
  • Select 3rd Gradient Slider and type the color value (C=13, M=27, Y=100, K=2). 

17. Select all shape and apply (Effect > Stylize > Drop Shadow) command.

18. Select Type tool and type TM, Microsoft, Windows XP, Professional.
